"Celebrating Today, Cultivating Tomorrow: Embracing Your Right Now

Hey there, beautiful soul! Let's talk about waiting for the celebration of perfection.

Spoiler alert: it's a trap! We often hold back on celebrating ourselves until everything feels just right – until we've reached that elusive state of "perfection." But guess what? Perfect is an illusion that doesn't exist!

In a world obsessed with its own rules of perfection, it's easy to feel the weight of expectations pressing down on us.

We're bombarded with images of flawless beauty, impeccable success stories, and curated lives on social media; it's easy to fall into the trap of waiting for the perfect moment to celebrate our successes or embrace our lives fully. We often hold back, waiting for everything to align just right before allowing ourselves to feel joy or gratitude. But what if we flipped that script? Because quite frankly we never had to follow what the world has deemed to be worthy of perfection in the first place. What if we chose to celebrate today, imperfections and all, without even knowing what lies ahead?

My self-discovery and healing journey have granted me the freedom of no longer seeking acceptance or the approval of the world, being able to identify what richness looks like for my life, is something I will never trade for "perfection".

Here are a few tips to embrace and celebrate your right now.

Tip #1 - Embrace The Mess

Life is unpredictable, and often a hot mess.

Waiting for everything to fall into place before allowing ourselves to celebrate means we might be waiting forever. Instead, embrace the mess. Understand that growth and progress often come from navigating through challenges and setbacks. By embracing it we free ourselves from the constraints of unrealistic expectations and open ourselves up to the beauty of the present moment.

Tip #2 - Choose Joy Every Day:

I have this thing where when people ask how's your day going? No matter what has occurred on any given day; my response is "Every day is a good day"! It has become a daily affirmation, that I began to believe in, where I have manifested joy and a peaceful existence in my daily life.

Count your blessings, tell your problems about your blessings, and watch how you shift the energy and decrease the power of those so-called problems and gain a little bit more peace and joy in the process.

Instead of waiting for certain events to occur or conditions to change, choose to claim good and joy in your days.

Asking someone what they think about your life, goals, or dreams, is the same as asking permission to think it, believe in it, let alone embrace it for yourself. -Janelle C. Ford

Tip #3 - Trust in the Journey:

Faith plays a significant role in spiritual development. Trust in a higher power, believing that everything happens for a reason and that even the toughest challenges are opportunities for growth and learning. Trust in the journey, knowing that God's plan for your life is greater than anything you could imagine.

In conclusion, don't wait for everything to be perfect before choosing to celebrate your life. Embrace imperfection, choose joy every day, and trust in the journey ahead. By doing so, you'll cultivate a mindset of gratitude, resilience, faith, and creativity that will propel where it matters most in life going forward.

Remember, the time to celebrate is now.
